Ø The most appropriate methodology makes project implementation effective

scenario construction, modelling, stakeholder participation, and field study are identified after many rounds of discussion and training among Chinese, international experts and the Inner Mongolia team. The CENTURY model is identified for grassland productivity assessment for policy assessment, cost benefit was replaced by participatory assessment and AHP, along with policy scenario simulation

25 workshops have been held with project consultants, the national team, Ningxia and Guangdong team in Beijing, Hoh hot, Yinchuan, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Guilin, and Xilin hot.

ØGood coordination and organisation is the backbone for smooth project implementation.

A coordination groups is set up in line with large number of researchers involved and multi-disciplinary nature of the research, to liaise among ACCC PMO, national teams, and Inner Mongolia team. More than 30 work meetings have been held among the Inner Mongolia team alone.
