AUTISTIC DISORDER---Impairments of social interaction---Problem in communication---restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior are quite evident

ASPERGER’S SYNDROME

---exhibit the same signs as those with an autistic disorder -- do not show severe impairments in language development

-child communicates using speech and appears to understand spoken language at a level that is lower than expected for the child's general level of intelligence.

TOURETTE SYNDROME--is an inherited neuropsychiatric disorder with onset in childhood, characterized by multiple physical (motor) tics and at least one vocal (phonic) tic

CHRONIC MOTOR OR VOCAL TICS DISORDER

-Is defined as the presence of either motor tics or vocal tics but not both.
