QUICK GUIDE – CLOSED TRAY IMPRESSION NOBEL REPLACE Impression Technique Step One Remove healing abutment with manual screwdriver. Please note if working with multiple implants, remove one healing abutment at a time to place the impression coping. Step Two Place impression coping, manually rotating to assure that the lobes are aligned into the internal connection of the implant. Once it is seated use the manual screwdriver to fasten. A radiograph can be taken to assure that the impression coping is fully seated. Step Three Place a small amount of wax to the unigrip hole to block it out of impression material Step Four Inject regular body impression material around impression coping. Seat the impression tray filled with a firm impression material. Once impression material is fully set, remove tray. Step Five Remove impression coping from implant with manual screwdriver. Immediately replace healing abutment. Patient may now be discharged. Continued on back

Step Six Step Six Attach the appropriate replica to the impression coping. Step Seven Reinsert impression coping into the impression. The cut out area on the impression coping should align perfectly into impression. The impression may now be sent to the dental laboratory.
