• Create an inventory for each person who uses the closet

• Remember to account for new items to be stored, in addition to your existing items.

• Evaluate and note your likes/dislikes for your current storage method for accessory items such as purses, hats, jewelry, etc.

• Note items that need special consideration such as luggage, tall boots, high heeled shoes, etc.

• Measure the height of hanging items from the top of the closet rod to the bottom of the item.

• Measure the widest width for folded storage.
