RadarSky WALK - Hidden Counting Radar RadarSky WALK is an advance and accurate people counting machine. It adopts the latest 24GHz radar technology and apply a noval radar analytic algorithm for people counting in shops, office buildings, exhibition halls and wash rooms. The bi-directional counts, which are in both IN and OUT directions, are sent to the client's server via the secured ConnectBLETM cloud App. Statistical reports are presented for different use cases.

RadarSky WALK is privacy aware. It measures only the walking speed of all objects in the frequency spectrum under the detection range. No personal identity is detected.

Principle of Operation

By the principle of radar doppler effect, a walking person reflects the radar signal in a particular frequency. The Radar measures these frequencies in a time period and get the counts of both the number of persons approaching and the persons departing.

Radar Penetration & Hidden Installation

24GHz radar shares the same physical media of EM waves as GSM 5G mobile phones, which is good in the indoor penetration. The Radar can penetrate non-metal covers and see through the human motion behind that cover, under the safe radar power of CE/EN regulation. Practically the detection range of the Radar is limited to 3 meters. Wooden boards of ¼”, mesh wires, plastic and papers are applicable as the covers for hidden installation.
