District 6 did not have a complete communication system to provide designers, management and support personnel with the information needed to make timely decisions when completing construction plans.

The GIS online platform was used to provide a communication system that shares up-to-date information needed for decision making and tracks project progress. Projects are shown as points on the GIS map, and detailed information can be viewed by clicking the corresponding point. The system is cloud based and can be accessed anytime and anywhere by computers and mobile devices. The information provided by the system allows for informed decision making and timely delivery of projects.

Information can be viewed by selecting the project on the GIS online map.

Traditional reports can be viewed and automatically generated as needed.
