St Francis Catholic School welcomes new principalThe community at St Francis Catholic School, Hughenden is pleased to welcome Allyson Buchanan as their new Principal in 2020. Ms Buchanan brings a wealth of education knowledge and experience into her new leadership role.
“I am really looking forward to working with the students and staff of St Francis School. My first impressions were how lovely the school looks and the pride the students show for their school,” said Ms Buchanan.
“I have already felt very welcome and I am looking forward to getting to know the community better and being part of the school community in supporting the students to be the best they can be.”
Ms Buchanan is an experienced educator, and has worked in the Townsville Diocese for 13 years, most recently at Holy Spirit Catholic School, Cranbrook.
Executive Director of Townsville Catholic Education, Jacqui Francis welcomed Ms Buchanan at the New Principals Induction, which was held in Townsville in January.
“Townsville Catholic Education is delighted to welcome a new leader to St Francis Catholic School and we wish Allyson all the best in her new position,” said Jacqui.
