2.2 Installation of Multi Server Mode
Pre-installation preparation:
Before installing, please check the network environment of your server:
1. First, a DNS domain control server is required, and the domain environment should
be set up on the domain control server. (DNS can either be one set up by your
company or to be set up separately on the domain server).
2. Load balancing requires at least 2 or more terminal service clusters (The terminal
service should be added in the domain).
3. One of the servers is a domain server, such as A is to be the master server (select
cluster controller during installation) and other servers, such as B, C ….are the slave
server (select application server during installation). Example:
The previous installation steps for the Multi Server mode of Cloudsoar 3C
Management Console are the same as those of the Single server mode. The difference
is that you must select "Multi Server Mode" on the "Installation mode selection
screen" then click "Next" to install. Example:

the server and the client terminal, available functions of the extranet, mapping
functions such as shear clipboard, disk and audio frequency, as well as printers.
Whether a user is permitted to use the public network can also be set up and managed
through the client settings.
The system default of the Cloudsoar 3C Console is specifically for the mapping
of clipboard, disk mapping and audio mapping , as well as printers mapping. The
administrator can implement configurations bases on actual situations. The
availability of the extranet will be determined through function opening and terminal
mapping implemented by the administrator.

Ⅶ. Security Policy
Security policy is specifically for the setup of system security policy of system
resources, such as server hard disk, browser, control panel, running of command and
registry. It enables easy setup and quick and convenient management.
Introduction of Functions:

column (required field). The description information can be filled in and policy
subkeys selected based on actual situation, among which includes contents such as
“Display attribute”, “Control panel”, “Start menu column”, “Dedicated icon setting”,
“DOS prompt”, “Resource manager”, “System parameter”, “Taskbar”, “Dialogue box
access restriction”, “Internet access”, and “Disk management.” Over 100 sub-policies
can be used to deploy the desktop security, hard disk security, network access security,
IE browser security, and system performances, which can eliminate the vast majority
of harms brought by the application programs to the server.
1. Select the “Add” button to create a new security policy.
2. Display attribute: including “Desktop icon”, “Context menu (right-click menu)
options, restriction of certain commands and programs”, “Taskbar options”, “Start

- 32 -
Cloudsoar Networks Inc.
Ⅷ. Share, Home Folder, Profile Folder
8.1 Setup of Home Folder and Profile Folder
The theory of user configuration file is to store the user configuration file in a share
folder of the server and then point to the network path of the configuration file in the
user attribute. When the user logs in, the configuration file shall be automatically
loaded on the server, but when the user logs out, the updated configuration
information will be saved in the server.
Home Folder: A dedicated folder that is specifically set up for the user to store
personal documents. With the exception of the computer administrator and the
original user, all other users will not have access to this folder.
Note: At present, this setting is only available in single server mode. If it is in Multi server
mode, then the home folder and profile must be configured in the domain control server.
- 33 -
Cloudsoar Networks Inc.
This setting can be selected and set up in the new user attribute as shown below:
8.2 Share Folder
In order to facilitate internal company file transfer and file sharing, IT
administrator can conveniently carry out corresponding control and usage of the
company share folder according to the departmental and organizational structures of
the company.
- 34 -
Cloudsoar Networks Inc.
Ⅸ. Server Management
9.1 Server Status
The server status is displayed on the server status screen, i.e. CPU usage and
memory usage. At the same time, user name, process number, connection status, client
machine type and IP address can be listed in the session manager. If the system
performance is affected by the massive user login, the session manager can disconnect
or cancel user sessions.
9.2 Server Binding
On the user binding server screen, server binding can be implemented on the user
and load balancing can be achieve manually to reduce the stress on the server.
Example:
- 35 -
Cloudsoar Networks Inc.
9.3 Load Balancing
The installation and usage flow of load balancing is as follows:
a) Install the master server and the slave server respectively (Please refer to
2.2 Installation of Multi Server Mode for this section)
b) Create an account
c) Publish and configure applications
d) Set up policy and allocation license for load balancing
The highlight of the Cloudsoar 3C product is that two binding policies for server
load balancing are provided in the Cloudsoar 3C virtual application system Enterprise
edition, which helps the administrator to set up the user and server in detail, and to
better meet users’ needs in the following application scenarios:
Ensure that core users are operating on the core server so as to guarantee
effective VIP user experience;
Fast user migration during server failure: Ensure that accounts bound to a
server can be quickly transferred to another server when server failure
occurs.
Achieve user load balancing as required and designate account access to the
designated server.
The two implementation policies of Cloudsoar 3C load balancing are as follows:
Type One: Based on the settings of the cluster server, the system default will
dynamically allocate the master server and slave server that the user is bound to
according to the session. (Default setting)
Type Two: Based on the detailed settings of a user, the administrator will allocate
the master and slave server that the user is bound to a corresponding server.
