It is time to cast aside all remaining doubt. President Obama is not trying to lead Americaforward to recovery, prosperity and strength. Quite the opposite, in fact.

In September of last year, American Thinker published my article, Barack Obama and theStrategy of Manufactured Crisis. Part of a series, it connected then-presidential candidateBarack Obama to individuals and organizations practicing a malevolent strategy fordestroying our economy and our system of government. Since then, the story of that strategyhas found its way across the blogosphere, onto the airwaves of radio stations across thecountry, the Glenn Beck television show, Bill O'Reilly, and now Mark Levin.

The methodology is known as the Cloward-Piven Strategy, and we can all be grateful to DavidHorowitz and his Discover the Networks for originally exposing and explaining it to us. Hedescribes it as:

The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading thegovernment bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society

into crisis and economic collapse.

Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven were two lifelong members of Democratic Socialists ofAmerica who taught sociology at Columbia University (Piven later went on to City Universityof New York). In a May 1966 Nation magazine article titled "The Weight of the Poor," theyoutlined their strategy, proposing to use grassroots radical organizations to push ever morestrident demands for public services at all levels of government.

The result, they predicted, would be "a profound financial and political crisis" that wouldunleash "powerful forces ... for major economic reform at the national level."

They implemented the strategy by creating a succession of radical organizations, mostnotable among them the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN),with the help of veteran organizer Wade Rathke. Their crowning achievement was the "MotorVoter" act, signed into law by Bill Clinton in 1993 with Cloward and Piven standing behindhim.

As we now know, ACORN was one of the chief drivers of high-risk mortgage lending thateventually led to the financial crisis. But the Motor Voter law was another component of thestrategy. It created vast vulnerabilities in our electoral system, which ACORN then exploited.ACORN's vote registration scandals throughout the U.S. are predictable fallout.

The Motor Voter law has also been used to open another vulnerability in the system: theregistration of vast numbers of illegal aliens, who then reliably vote Democrat. Herein lies thereal reason Democrats are so anxious for open borders, security be damned.

It should be clear to anyone with a mind and two eyes that this president and this Congress

do not have our interests at heart. They are implementing this strategy on an unprecedentedscale by flooding America with a tidal wave of poisonous initiatives, orders, regulations, andlaws. As Rahm Emmanuel said, "A crisis is a terrible thing to waste."

The realgoal of "health care" legislation, the realgoal of "cap-and-trade," and the realgoal ofthe "stimulus" is to rip the guts out of our private economy and transfer wide swaths of itover to the government to control. Do not be deluded by the propaganda. These initiativesare vehicles for change. They are not goals in and of themselves except in their ability todeliver power. They and will make matters much worse, for that is their design.

This time, in addition to overwhelming the government with demands for services, Obamaand the Democrats are overwhelming political opposition to their plans with a flood ofapocalyptic legislation. Their ultimate goal is to leave us so discouraged, demoralized, andexhausted that we throw our hands up in defeat. As Barney Frank said, "the middle class willbe too distracted to fight."

These people are our enemies. They don't use guns, yet, but they are just as dangerous,determined, and duplicitous as the communists we faced in the Cold War, Korea, Vietnam,and bush wars across the globe, and the Nazis we faced in World War II.

It is time we fully internalized and digested this fact, with all its ugly ramifications. Thesepeople have violated countless laws and could be prosecuted, had we the political power. Notonly are their policies unconstitutional, but deliberately so -- the goal being to make the

Constitution irrelevant. Their spending is off the charts and will drive us into hyperinflation,but it could be rescinded, had we the political power. These policies are toxic, but they couldbe stopped and reversed, had we the political power. Their ideologies are poisonous, but theycould be exposed for what they are, with long jail sentences as an object lesson, had we thepolitical power.

Every single citizen who cares about this country should be spending every minute of his orher spare time lobbying, organizing, writing, and planning. Fight every initiative they launch.It is alldestructive. If we are to root out this evil, it is critical that in 2010 we electcompetent, principled leaders willing to defend our Constitution and our country. Otherwise,the malevolent cabal that occupies the government today will become too entrenched.

After that, all bets are off.

Which kind of capitalism?

I just stumbled onto this article and I have a lot of sympathy for it, but I wonder what kind of"capitalism" you are proposing that Obama wants to destroy? I have thought for years that theconservative movement has trouble reaching more people because it assumes that everyoneunderstands what "free markets" really are. Many people are frightened of conservatism becausethey equate it with LAISSEZ-FAIRE capitalism, and the kind of capitalism that allows robber baronsto get fabulously wealthy while workers struggle and the environment is destroyed. And instead ofacknowledging and addressing those fears, conservatives simply hammer and label people as stupidfor having them -- which doesn't win anybody over. Central bankers for example are certainly"capitalists" are they not? They LOVE foment, division, and war because they "profit" from bothsides, and how much more "capitalist" can you be than that? And isn't Fox News run by an uber-

capitalist, Rupert Murdoch, whose wealth allows him to control a lot of the propaganda that getsbroadcast? See, people are mixed up about capitalism and are rightfully wary. What I see is that wehave been being hypnotized into a trance -- see the pendulum? Left, right, left, right... Ourproblems aren't horizontal, they are vertical!! The elites at the top, whether left OR right, LOVE itwhen we fight each other because then we're distracted while they sit back and continue their

control. Personally I think it's amazing and hopeful that Ron Paul and Bernie Saunders arecollaborating on nailing the Federal Reserve. Ron Paul is a LIBERTARIAN, and Bernie Saunders is aSOCIALIST -- get it? We have been being fed LIES. Not all socialists are the same, any more than allcapitalists are the same. The point is whether you have ELITE socialists like Stalin, or ELITE

corporate capitalists like Murdoch or the Rockerfellers -- both of which are for control at the expenseof the common folk. Horizontally, people of goodwill can air their differences and devise solutions tocommon problems, it's why we have a republic. Vertical oligarchy and plutocracy is the real enemy.If true conservatives refuse to nail the elite within the Republican party, then how can they expectthe progressive populists within the Democratic party to do the same? It *is* happeningnonetheless, but the pressure is on to keep fighting each other, right vs left and left vs right, so that

we can be baited away from fighting for real freedom.

being controlled by money as the temple changers. Socialistic America started with the SocialisticSecurity that has allowed government to tax almost every American. In the early 1900's only threepercent paid income tax, until SS. Even the sixteenth Amendment did not allow this direct taxationfor all as the court records show. Yet, allowable when one willing signs the contract of the SS. Just

look at the end of the tax code book and research what the word employee means, or income. Alllaws have a reference of what words mean in relation to the law written. Most Americans will findout they are neither an employee or have income for taxation. Christians know that the money they

have is God's and they are only stewards of it. So will you allow man(government) to steal it(volunteering for SS taxation)? Samuel Adams put it well, He who prefers wealth over freedom.Deserves neither wealth or freedom. charleydan

I believe that as a result of the Obama Administrations policys and the questionable Czars andcabinet appointments he has made, not to mention his association with the Reverend Wright and the"Black Liberation Theology" teachings, plus the Terroist Bill Aryes, he is willfully steering America
