Melksham Gardeners’ Society and the Community

• Plant Swop – Excess plants (lots!) donated by members used for:

• Scouts Summer Fayre • Aloeric School Summer Fayre • Aloeric School Gardening Club planted some and used some for a

plant swop & sale raising funds for bedding plants • Table with plants for sale outside the Guide HQ • Garden sale raising funds for Dorothy House Hospice • Melksham Open Gardens – sold in aid of the Children’s Society

• Christmas Theme ‒ Wreaths or Table decorations made with plant and

decorative material donated by members ‒ Left over material (lots!) and workshop tuition, donated to

local groups • Aloeric School Gardening Club made table decorations and

wreaths • Parents and guests did similar and raised £75 for the PTA • Bowerhill Ladies Group did similar donating £25 raised to

Dorothy House Hospice
