OBJET PURPOSE
Cette Norme de Conception a pour objet de dfinir le choix d'une cloison mtallique EM .
Dfinition Une cloison mtallique d'emmnagement rsulte en gnral d'une exigence d'un rglement SOLAS (incendie) . Ces cloisons sont considres comme ne participant jamais la rsistance de la structure . En consquence, elles ne permettent pas de supprimer : un barrot, une hiloire, une pontille ou un gousset existant, sans l'accord des Etudes Coque Mtallique.
En application de la Rglementation SOLAS Partie A Chapitre II-2 rgle 3 paragraphe 2.3 (Dfinition cloison type A) et la rsolution A754(18) du FTP Code, les cloisons avec isolation incendie auront une paisseur 4,5 0,5 mm (soit paisseur mini 4 mm).
Toutefois le BV admet paisseur 3 mm mini. (avec drogation)
Les conduits de ventilation rpondant la rgle SOLAS Partie C chapitre II-2 rgle 9 Paragraphe 7.2.1 de largeur ou diamtre 760 mm auront une paisseur d'au moins 5 mm .
The purpose of this design standard is to define the data enabling to choose an accommodation steel bulkhead.
Definition Generally, the design of Accommodation Spaces steel bulkheads is based on SOLAS fire protection.
These bulkheads are regarded as never participating in the structure strength. As a result their installation does not allow for cancelling any existing beam, girder, pillar or bracket without prior agreement by our Designing Department.
In application of the SOLAS regulation Part A Chapter II-2 regulation 3 paragraph 2.3 (definition of bulkhead Type A) and resolution A754 (18) of FTP Code the fire insulated bulkheads will be of 4,5 thickness ( 0,5 mm )(so thickness minimum 4 mm).
However BV can accept mini 3 mm thickness. (with dispensation)
The ventilation ducts that meet SOLAS rule Part C Chapter C Chapiter II-2 regulation 9 Paragraph 7.2.1 with 760mm diameter or width will be at least 5mm thick
