American Headache Society®
The American Headache Society® (AHS) is pleased to offer the
Chronic Migraine Education Program (CMEP) at no cost to healthcare
professionals. This interactive educational program is designed to
update physicians on the diagnosis, epidemiology, pathology, and
treatment of chronic migraine. During this program, attendees will have
the opportunity to review the most recent classification criteria on
how to differentiate chronic migraine from other headache disorders.
Recent studies on brainstem mechanisms believed to be activated
in patients with migraine will be reviewed. The latest evidence-based
clinical studies on treatment for chronic migraine will be assessed.
Throughout this course, there will be case-based discussion on
managing the patient with chronic migraine or diagnosing patient with
other headache disorders that might be confused as chronic migraine. PR
