As a librarian, homeschooling mom, self-educator, and diverse

reader, libraries have always been vital to me. I laugh about

building my mind and body - lugging 30-40 lbs of books each

week! My 14-year-old son said that Curtis was his favorite place;

that home is nice, homeschool group is great, but the library

always has something he wants to read or watch or learn about.

Our libraries are suffering, and I can't think of an institution that

houses a more diverse set of services our communities cannot

live without. Libraries in general rock, but the Curtis Library is a

special perfect storm of staff, resources, location, and availability

CHIP (Community Heath Information Partnership) was

initiated in 1999 to provide the public and healthcare

professionals with up-to-the-minute health and wellness

information and educational programs.
