CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF), the

philanthropic arm of CapitaLand is the

latest addition to our list of sponsors for

the Food Goodie Bag programme. They

have committed to support a total of 100

children in two schools – Xishan Primary

School and Boon Lay Garden Primary

School – by providing them food on a

monthly basis for one year.WithCHF’s

support, we are able to begin a pilot project

to look beyond providing the very basics,

and to also consider the nutritious value of

the food that we are providing the children

with. Among the food items the children

will be receiving are milk, fruit juice, nuts

and breakfast cereals. We are very thankful

to CHF for their strong support toward our

cause.

during the Chinese New Year period. As

an extension of its support for the Food

Goodie Bag Programme, SingPost also

supports 50 unprivileged primary school

students since June 2009, sponsoring

FFTH for a full year’s supply of

monthly food items to these needy

students.

Food from the Heart is Singapore Post Limited's

official adopted charity. They have been deploying

its fleet of vehicles since June 2008 to collect unsold

bread and pastries from bakeries and hotels six days

a week, and deliver them to needy beneficiaries in

Kolam Ayer Self Collection Centre. Staff of SingPost

also expend both personal time and money towards

the Food Goodie Bag programme, sponsoring,

packing and distributing food goodie bags on a

quarterly basis to 120 senior citizens staying in one-

room flats in Kolam Ayer. To date, SingPost has

organised 10 Food Goodie Bag sessions since the

inaugural session in July 2008. The staff also brought

festive cheer to the needy residents at the Year-end

Party in December 2009, Mid-Autumn Celebration

in September 2010 and Post-Chinese New Year Party

in February 2011. For three consecutive years since

2009, the needy elderly have received red packets
