Key Attributes

• CMS Consequential Change Project is scoping high level change requirements as a result of Project Nexus detailed design impacts.

• CMS detailed design phase to follow UK Link detailed design and will include the development of iGT contacts.

• Transition principles are being captured with the identification of high level change requirements and solution delivery will form part of the detailed design phase.

• It is likely that new Contact Status’ will be created with the introduction of iGT & Unique Site Contacts

Transition Principles

• An assumption can be made that CMS change delivery will be in line with the delivery of UKLink Replacement.

• Any contact raised from 1st Oct 2015 will be treated according to the prevailing rules on that date, even where the data impacted spans or pre-dates cut over.

• Further discussion will take place with industry parties for arrangements in raising contacts leading up to the cut over date.

4

Transition Principles Cont.

• Considerations to be made regarding: – introduction of new contact codes

– search functionality changes

– file format developments; and

– new processes in UKLR requiring CMS contacts

• iGT contacts in flight will be resolved by iGTs, contacts may only be raised from 1st Oct 2015 for data received from that date.

• Unique site contacts in flight will be managed by the Unique Sites team, contacts may be raised in CMS from 1st Oct 2015.
