Dear Gildo Rey Students and Families,
It is with excitement and sadness that I write to youtoday. Beginning next school year, I will be Principal atWashington Elementary here in Auburn. I am excitedfor this new opportunity to learn and grow as aneducator. The past 4 years, serving as your AssistantPrincipal, have been a blessing and a gift. Gildo Rey isan incredible community. The students are truly theheart of the school. I will miss greeting you at thecrosswalk, taking walks through your classrooms, making our morning announcements, and celebratingyour success. However, I am confident that you willcontinue to soar. Keep working hard Hawks! You arebraver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and more loved than you know.
Thank Gildo Rey for being such a special part of myjourney.
Sincerely,Gelinda Williams
