  • 1. Just because you CAN doesnt mean that you SHOULD.

    2. Never dumb it down.

    3. If you dont understand, ask before its too late.

    4. Always use we when referencing your team, or your school.

    5. You are what you do, not what you say.

    6. Give credit. Take blame.

    7. You can delegate authority, but not responsibility.

    8. Stand up to bullies.

    9. Admit when youre wrong.

    10. Forgive yourself for your mistakes.

    11. Make the little things count.

    12. Dont lose your cool.

    13. Dont make a scene.

    14. Just suck it up every now and again.

    15. Keep your word.

    16. Be a good listener - dont just wait for your turn to talk.

    17. There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.

    18. Never linger in a doorway. Youre either in, or out.

    19. None of us is as smart as all of us.

    20. If you cant explain it simply, you dont understand it well enough.

    35. Its never too late for an apology.

    36. Believe in miracles - but dont depend on them.

    37. Know when to ignore the camera.

    38. When youre with new friends, dont just talk about old friends.

    39. Its not enough to simply be proud of your tradition - live up to it.

    40. If you have the right of way, TAKE it.

    41. Eat lunch with the new kids.

    42. Dont stare.
