experts in Coal & minerals proCessing. the globally challenging supply situation of energy recources and raw materials such as oil, gas and ores is triggering the rising demand of energy recources such as coal. this generates the upsurge of raw material requirements for iron ore as well. Consequently it is causing a rash price raise of coal and minerals and gaining more valuable products. Countries with huge coal and minerals recources become increasingly important for the world´s industry demand.

because of the consumers demand and the strengthened environmental regulations, the requirement for upgraded coal and mineral products is increasing. Clean coal products with low ash-, sulphur- and moisture content with high heating values are needed. this is leading to a rising demand in respect to coal beneficiation and resulting in environmental protection – i.e. power plant emissions and transport capacities will be reduced signifi-cantly, furthermore longer life time of the coal deposits is achieved due to more economical operation etc.

the decreasing grades of the worldwide ore deposits need a constant adjustmentof the enrichment processes. these are the reasons why we are constantly developing our products and at the same time improving the beneficiation processes.

Worldwide in more than 300 bataC Jigs are in operation for coal preparation, processing of iron, tin and manganese ores and recovery of metal losses from alloy slags. the main advantages of bataC Jigs compared to conven- tional jigs and heavy-medium plants (Hms): higher efficiency, huge eco-nomical benefits, better product quality, better machine availability and higher throughput rates.

roMJig®

moveable sieve jig for primary separation of refuse from the coarse raw coal. by means of a movable screen rocker the grains are loosened and stratified. Coarse coal can thus be separated in a light and a heavy fraction at low specific operating costs and with high efficiency.Feed size 30 – 400 mmThroughput rates max. 400 t / h

in total, more than 180 separators have been installed worldwide, not only to purify iron ores but also other minerals such as phosphate, fluorite, silicon carbide etc. Jones WHims enables not only very high magnetic fields at low current consumption but also yields high throughput rates in a compact machine.

PErMos® MiMsmedium-intensity magnetic separator (mims) for dry and wet separation of ferromagnetic and paramagnetic ores and minerals.solids feed size 5 mmThroughput rates 0.5 – 90 t/h

permos mims with a wide working range outside the drum allows a dry and wet magnetic separation of coarse and fine minerals, particularly high grade ores of medium susceptibility at high throughput rates. the permos operates at field intensities around 0.5 tesla on the drum surface and meets the demand for cost-effective solutions for many applications which are outside the scope of traditional low intensity permanent magnetic separa-tors, that reach only up to 0.2 tesla on the drum surface.

Palla®

Wide range of applications, either wet or dry grinding, from intermittent to continuous operation could be done in our palla. the grinding can also be carried out at excess or negative pressure, as well as in an atmosphere of inert, protective or reaction gas.
