Titanium Carbide 1,5 %

The use of the titanium carbide coated grit is similar to the titanium one. The coating level for titanium carbide is higher thus the contact area for sintering increases.

Chrome 1 %

Chrome has good wetting properties and affinity to diamonds. The retention can be improved with CR3C2 which is released during the sintering process. It is used in metal bond systems.

Silicon 2 %

Silicon coatings increase the thermal resilience, the wear resistance and prevent the ability to disintegrate iron. Moreover the chemical coating improves the retention between the bond and the diamond.

Titanium 2 %

The bubble free titanium coating prevents the erosion of iron, chrome and tungsten, at high temperatures, during the tool production. It improves the preservation of the bond and the diamond and therefore prevents the bursting of the grit and extends the lifetime of the tool.

Diamond for brillant tools

Coatings support the thermal conductivity, extend the life of the tools and improve the process properties of the workpiece.

Copper 30%, 50%, 56%

The copper coating can improve the retention of the diamond, expand the heat distribution and extends the lifetime of the tools. The coating is suitable for soft bonds.

Cobalt 30%, 50%, 56%

The cobalt coating improves the retention of the diamond. Furthermore the cobalt increases the oxidation temperature of the diamond which increases the sintering temperature.

Chemical Nickel 30%, 50%, 56%

Due to the very rough structure of the coating the specific surface is enlarged. The retention between diamond and bond, as well as the lifetime are improved. The energy consumption is reduced.

Nickel 30%, 50%, 56%

The surface of this kind of coating is smooth. The lifetime of the tools can be extended due to the extreme retention between the nickel layer and the surrounding bond. The coating can protect the diamond from erosion and at the same time expands the area of action of the diamond grit. This way the energy consumption is reduced and the cutting ability is increased.

Ni Spikey 56%, 70%

It improves significantly the specific surface and increases the retention between the bond and the diamond. This extends the lifetime of the tool and improves the sharpness. Predominantly used in soft bond at reduced sintering temperatures.
