During the weekend 385 educational professionals representing schools and organisations from over 65 countries were engaged, challenged and inspired. With a membership base of 250 schools and commercial organisations worldwide, COBIS was delighted to welcome members and non-member guests alike. The 3 day programme was packed full of quality key note speakers, lively panel debates, interactive seminars and most importantly, the opportunity to recognise COBIS student achievements. Conference celebrated student suc- cess by hosting the inaugural COBIS Young Scientist Film Awards, and by announcing and presenting certificates and prizes for the 2013 COBIS Student Awards and the 2013 COBIS Poetry Competition. Congratulations to all! Key note speakers and seminar presentations will be available to view on the COBIS website. Your feed- back is important to us for planning future events, please help by completing the online evaluation survey.

‘Precious Cargo – Leading British Schools Overseas’ – a COBIS thank you to all our friends who joined us at our annual conference in London.

During the weekend 385 educational professionals representing schools and organisations from over 65 countries were engaged, challenged and inspired. With a membership base of 250 schools and commercial organisations worldwide, COBIS was delighted to welcome members and non-member guests alike.

The 3 day programme was packed full of quality key note speakers, lively panel debates, interactive seminars and most importantly, the opportunity to recognise COBIS student achievements. Conference celebrated student suc-cess by hosting the inaugural COBIS Young Scientist Film Awards, and by announcing and presenting certificates and prizes for the 2013 COBIS Student Awards and the 2013 COBIS Poetry Competition. How do these COBIS services operate? • Submit an online request form to outline background, needs and time frame

• COBIS briefs and introduces a mentor or consultant

• Your chosen mentor or consultant will then deal direct with the school

• Schools, Mentors and Consultants submit feedback questionnaires to COBIS

• Schools and consultants have access to a framework of recommended charges

• Schools are free to negotiate above and below these rates with approved consultants

• Leaders accessing the mentoring service are subject to a £150 fee
