split Indoor Unit and Outdoor unit (IDU/ODU) configuration

common to most high frequency radios

• The Digital Microwave Radio (DMR) 8800 series is a robust and flexible platform that builds on over a decade of Codan experience in the Links industry.

• Built on the Legacy of the Codan 7700 Low to Medium Capacity PDH Radio – 10 Year Legacy.

• Both the IDU and ODU are manufactured in-house by Codan.

• Available in a range of capacities and bandwidths up to 16E1 , E3 or up to 52Mb/s Ethernet Capacity full duplex or 104 Mb/s aggregate.

• Supplied with a 3 Year Warranty

IDU FeaturesIDU Features

Keypad and Display FeaturesAll settings of the Codan 8800 series DMR are hierarchically arranged in a menu structure. The keys on the control panel enable navigation up and down through the menu structure.

Access to the keypad is limited to three levels of passwords – USER, ADMINISTRATOR and SUPERVISOR

Alarm indication is via LED’s, short messages on the front menu and detailed information in the alarm dialog box, accessed through the menu structure

Back-lit display enables operation in the dark

• One ODU Covers all Data Rates

• Robust Modulation Scheme - Continuous Phase Modulation (CP4FSK) implemented rather than QAM/PSK resulting in a more robust link in poor propagation areas (high rainfall, reflected signals etc…)

• Full Feature ATPC allows for Lower and Upper Threshold set points down to –10dBm in 1dBm increments
