Code Enforcement BoardCode Enforcement Board

• Has jurisdiction to hear and decide alleged violations of the codes and ordinances in force in the county

• Has the authority to levy fines against those persons found in non-compliance of county codes

• Subject to the inclusion of those professional specialties, each district of the county shall be represented by at least one member. Currently, District 1 is not represented on the board

• Meets third Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m.

• Financial Disclosure Required

• Shall include, whenever possible:– An architect– A business person– An engineer/surveyor– A general contractor – A subcontractor– A licensed real estate broker or licensed real

estate salesman

• Terms of three members, Lyndell Mims, Richard Furman, and Jose Rivas, Jr. have expired
