A ray of light is shining on her face which could suggest a sense of hope.

The lighting is predominant dark which reflects the low points in his life and also the album.

The simple but classic font used for the titling and artists name stands out against the dark background.

The white titling symbolizes a more peaceful and slow type of an album

The type of clothing used is causal and simple which is a conventions of the singer-songwriter and indie genre. We are hoping to use the same type of casually appearance for our artists.

The title of the album also helps to emphasis the fact that the album is going to be a very soulful and depressing . We hoping to use a black and white effect in our digipak cover to create a classic and soulful affect which is going to work well with our lyrics and genre .

The artists is central and taking up all of the cover. This draws the audiences attention more and also emphasising his star image as an artists to the fans.

record labels tend to used close ups of artist as a way of Generating profit and creating a star image for the singer. This convention is commonly seen within the singer songwriter genre.

The imagery used as the album cover was simple but also affective in gaining the right target audience.

A very Simplistic font has been used to showcase the artists and album name. The white font used stood out within the background colour.

The font appears to be handwritten which is unique and interesting because it gives a more personal and professional appearance to the album.

Her nude lipstick and black eyeliner is a common feature that is presented in her album cover, poster and magazine advert. This allows the artists to create a visual style for herself which is highly in demand within her audience. It also enables her target audience to recognize her Simplicity

A close up of the artists using direct address is vital because it enables an important connection between the audience and the artists. The font appears to be handwritten
