BBC Four weather trailer

It is a male voiceover who talks about the weather and the weather and talks about the different types of weather than you can get i.e. extreme snow, wind and rain. He speaks with the intent to inform and draws people in by saying hello there. The male voiceover also describes what is going to be happening over the next few weeks in the series and tells us what episode is happening when like: we start of with a cold weather front. This tells you what will be in that episode in that week so we will tune in if we are interested in that programme. Lots of use for sound effects to reinforce what is being said by the narrator and the sound effects are relevant to what he is trying to say.The female voiceover at the end tells us what the programme is called The weather: A very British obsession and states that it is coming soon. She ends with telling us that it is on channel four.

Dispatches Trailer- Street weapons.

It starts of with different reports on knife crime and this means that they are able to bring in different types of people in. It also gives you facts like: 19th teenager to die this year which brings you in. It gives you the idea that people care about crime. They have done It in a way where they can use the voiceovers to be used on the radio as well as the TV because they give the facts that wont need visuals so they can save money by using it more one style of media. The music bed sets the tone of the programme because it is low and deep and sets the tonne. There are sound effects of police cars which relate to what the programme is about. The end of the programme tells you exactly when the show will be showing, what time it is on and ends with the channel it is so follows the codes and conventions of Radio trailers.
