Sea  Monster  Illustra.on  -‐My  objec.ve  was  to  follow  a  set  of  direc.ons  and  make  a  Sea  Monster  in  illustrator.  -‐I  followed  the  direc.ons,  then  added  my  own  li>le  touches  (the  blood  in  the  mouth,  the  purple  lightning,  etc.),  and  this  was  the  result.

Shy  Guy  Sprite  Edit  -‐Basically,  my  goal  was  to  recreate  this  Nintendo  64  sprite  of  a  Shy  Guy.  -‐I  went  into  MS  Paint,  used  the  zoom  tool  and  the  grid,  and  copied  the  sprite  from  a  separate  image.  Then,  I  changed  a  few  colors  around,  drew  a  li>le  bazooka  for  him,  and  added  a  high-‐tech  lens.

Holiday  Memory  -‐My  objec.ve  was  to  show  what  I  did  over  Christmas  Break  using  any  program  I  chose.  -‐I  used  Illustrator  to  show  that  I  mostly  played  MW3  all  break  long.  I  just  put  a  few  rectangles  on  the  page,  threw  in  a  MW3  screenshot,  drew  some  hair  and  I  was  done

Self  Portrait  -‐My  goal  was  to  take  an  abstract  background,  a  name  in  2-‐point  perspec.ve,  put  them  together,  then  redraw  myself  in  Illustrator.  -‐This  was  a  bit  difficult,  but  basically,  I  put  the  images  together,  drew  my  face  with  the  pen  tool,  added  gradients,  then  changed  my  hat,  and  added  a  sword  in  just  for  kicks.

Stylized  Nursery  Rhyme  -‐Objec.ve:  to  choose  a  nursery  rhyme  and  stylize  it.  -‐I  chose  to  redraw  London  Bridge  using  a  grunge  style.  I  found  a  background  that  had  a  rough  texture,  found  a  picture  of  London  Bridge,  filled  it  with  black,  made  smoke  clouds,  and  threw  it  all  together  in  a  nice,  unified  fashion

iPod  You  -‐I  was  to  take  a  picture  of  myself,  and  stylize  it  to  make  it  look  like  an  iPod  ad.  -‐I  took  a  picture  from  my  Facebook,  filled  it  with  black  to  make  it  a  silhoue>e,  then  filled  the  background  with  a  really  bright  red.  Then  I  used  the  Apple™  font  and  typed  something  fi\ng.

Art  History  Poster  -‐I  was  to  remake  a  poster  using  one  of  the  ar.s.c  styles  demonstrated  in  the  history  of  art.  -‐I  chose  to  remake  it  in  Urban  Grunge.  I  found  a  city-‐ish  background,  made  the  band  template  white,  scrambled  some  le>ers,  and  made  EVERYTHING  pop!

Classroom  Rules  Poster  -‐I  was  trying  to  make  the  classroom  rules  a  li>le  less  boring.  -‐Ahhh,  my  first  assignment.  I  found  a  ton  of  stuff  related  to  Mario  Bros.  (fonts,  wingdings,  backgrounds,  and  images).  I  put  the  background  on,  put  the  Mario  image  right  there,  retyped  the  rules  word-‐for-‐word  in  a  Mario  font,  and  used  Mario  Wingdings  as  bullets  for  the  rules.

FIGHT FOR

THE CURE!

losing Is not an option

Race  for  the  Cure  Shirt  Designs  -‐My  job  was  to  design  a  shirt  that  anyone  could  wear,  that  adver.ses  the  Race  for  the  Cure.  -‐I  chose  a  very  fierce  font,  and  a  fierce  pink  ribbon,  to  demonstrate  the  fight  for  the  cure.  Then  I  made  it  a  reddish  pink  and  chose  black  for  the  shirt  color.

Zombie  Walk  Poster  -‐My  mission  was  to  design  a  poster  for  the  Hot  Springs  Mall’s  Zombie  Walk  Fundraiser  Program.  -‐I  found  a  great  picture  of  zombies,  a  gross  font,  and  made  it  all  glow  and  pop
