Earth Month Highlights

On Paperless Wednesday, students in Mr. Roberge’s class took notes on a T-Chart made on educreations during a reading lesson. The article they worked with was

Students in Mrs. Thompson’s fourth grade class are thrilled to share that they did not use one piece of paper all day! They all worked together to find creative ways to complete schoolwork. Students immediately created bathrom sign-outs on mini whiteboards, used ipads for morning work, math workshop, and ELA. They also relied on the whiteboard, mini whiteboards, and the smartboard. It was a fun day and certainly raised all their awareness as to how much paper we can save in just one day!

The fourth and fifth grade bands have started preparing for their final combined concert on May 11th. Let’s hope that all of these rainy days (which are great for practicing) will lead to some beautiful sounds of spring! This is a great time to ask your musicians for a preview of some of the music that they have been working on for their concert. It will be fun to hear all of the wonderful progress that they have made this year.

Cradles to Crayons Collection Thank you to the Cole School families for giving so generously to the Cradles to Crayons Collection led by Norwell’s representative to Project 351, Molly Castle.
