January 16, 2014 To Whom It May Concern: Please accept this letter of reference on behalf of Miss Nicole Koza. Nicole has interned at École W.S. Hawrylak School for the past four months. During this time, Nicole has proven herself to be a valuable member of our instructional team. Nicole’s internship was primarily spent in the Kindergarten classroom of Mrs. Brandy Melnechenko. This diverse group of 33 students presented a number of wonderful teaching opportunities and challenges. In each case, Nicole demonstrated many of the characteristics of an excellent educator. She engaged her students in a variety of learning activities while maintaining a warm and caring tone. During her time at W.S. Hawrylak, Nicole also assumed a number of co-curricular duties in support of her school. Nicole’s accomplishments included helping to coach Boys’ Volleyball and assuming regular playground and lunchroom supervision duties. She established many positive relationships with staff, students, and parents while participating in all aspects of school life. As her teaching experience continues to expand, I am confident Nicole Koza will be a great addition to any staff. I wish her well in all of her future endeavours.
