On May 17 we will hold our commencement ceremony, where five students from Colegio Biblico Mexico Campus and one student from our USA campus, will celebrate the completion of their studies. We thank God for each one of them that has been determined to complete another stage of their lives and pray that God prosper them in their plans. From April 22 to 25, the Lord granted us to have to Pat Mahoney on campus, who taught the seminar on “Getting ready for the Mission Field” and “The Book of Daniel.” Pat graduated from Cincinnati Christian University and is currently working as a Bible translator in Equatorial Guinea’s missionary ministry at Outreach International. Recently he has been working on the translation of the Old Testament. Cisneros Colegio Biblico will be a highlight at the International Conference of Missions (ICOM), formerly the National Missionary Convention. Colegio will have a special space to tell our story and the trajectory we have had in missions. This year, ICOM will be held in Kansas City, KS in November. We ask for your prayers for this unique opportunity in the history of Colegio Biblico. Jon Rex Robertson went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2013. He was born on April 29, 1937 and was married to Orleen Robertson for over 50 years. Jon Rex Robertson gave 37 years of service in selfless sacrifice to the Lord’s work in the ministry of Colegio Biblico in the company of his wife. During his years at Colegio Biblico, Jon Rex served as Dean of Men, Professor, and Academic Administrator. We thank God for his exemplary life and for the hope of seeing him again when we are in the presence of the Lord. Jon Rex is survived by three children: David, Jonathan, and Lorena. Our condolences to the Robertson family, may God provide strength and comfort. On May 17, with the graduation ceremony, Colegio Biblico’s school year of 2012-2013 will end. However, the activities Colegio undergoes are continuous and an important part of the ministry that take place in the Christian Church throughout the US, Mexican Republic, and even abroad through our faculty, staff, and students. For this reason, please keep us in your prayers, that God will supply every one of our needs and for the work of God and His gospel be proclaimed effectively. We encourage you to look for us at the North American Christian Convention, Bilingual Christian Convention, ICOM, etc. We look forward to meeting you!
