The cu ltural envi ronment of the campus is characterist ic of informality, flexibility,
humanistic, interac tive, cordiality, and above al l, esprit- de- corps. Students from different
states and countr ies bring the nation and globe to the Universi ty campus. There is
predominantly a sense of part icipation across campus.
Concept of CollaborativeIndustry Based (CIB) Education
Collaborative Industry Based Education is most contemporary noble concept to integrate the component of industry in to the education. CIB Education is just not a formality of giving industry exposure to students; rather it is a full-fledged industry experience to students with studies. CIB education enables students to obtain the basic and all functional knowledge of the industry in which they wished to work.
The purpose of every education is to obtain factual knowledge and employment. Study incapable of providing suitable employment and knowledge to a student is fruitless. Our present educational system hardly contains industry component in it. In this competitive environment the difference between education and industry is widening day-by-day. This creates difficulty for young alumnus to adjust themselves in industry. Sometime it took many years to transform them in thorough professionals. In the absence of proper guidance many students get distracted from the actual goals to proceed with their career, and choose unknowingly & un-purposely different profession from their basic qualification. This education to profession dropout, yields wastage of resources provided by Government & Private Sector in addition to the most significant years of study of a student's life.
Considering the field of engineering where nation is struggling with the deficiency of engineering professionals despite of having thousands of engineering colleges in the country. Why? Due to directionless efforts of present education system most of the young engineering alumnus shifts themselves to some other industry, unwillingly. The
The purpose of every education is to obtain factual Knowledge and Employment.
Study incapable of providing suitable employment and
knowledge to a student is fruitless
Education & Training “A Social Responsibility”
In order to expand the accessibility, equality , inclusion and qualitative improvement in the Higher Education, through intellectual teaching for utilising India's human resource potential to its fullest and to promote the cause of education with integration of industrial training/ internship/ research work to create excellent employment opportunities for the students, Shobhit University, Meerut, U.P. India have resolved to conduct Collaborative Industry Based (CIB) Part-Time Regular Education Programmes with Industry & Education Resource support exclusively from Council for Minority Development (CMD) to work together towards a common goal which is empowering the youth of India through education and knowledge by help in finalizing Collaborative Industry Based Internship Points (CIIPs) and Internship/ Training/ Research Work for the students and enrolling students into the CIB Education programmes of Shobhit University from India. Council for Minority Development (CMD) was created with a vision to all round development of Minority Community especially to educate people in industry environment. Council for Minority Development have an edge in fast emerging field of technical, vocational, arts, commerce, science, medicines, pharmacy, media, education, management & skill based education. The Council for Minority Development vision is to be a unified institute, acknowledges universally as leader in developing innovative ways of teaching and learning by contributing strongly for the sustainable development of all communities especially the Minority Community and assisting the Third World Countries in improving their academics, training and research Programmes.
CMD is consistently putting efforts to provide solution from elementary level to master level programmes thus becoming the leader in development of industry oriented quality education and training programme in state-of-the-art areas, establish standards and be the countries premier institution for training & education domain with recognized, certificate, diploma & degree.
All of this gives the CMD an edge in the conduct of various courses, designing new ones, innovation and redesigning, keeping in mind the changing industrial requirement.
reasons may be many, like lack of direction for a proper start, dissatisfaction from industry, misunderstanding of work etc, but only 5% of the engineers leave the field because of genuine reasons. Remaining 95% leave the field because of the reasons, like they do not know how to start or they do not know how to adjust in industry or they do not have basic understanding or skills to work in industry. Every year more than 50% of the engineering graduates leave their respective field, i.e. the education to profession dropout of engineering filed is more than 50%. This loss is in addition to the manual hours wasted to educate them for their precious 4 to 6 years. This process can also be observed in other educational models like Arts, Commerce, Science, IT where industry interaction is negligible.
On the contrary in field of Medicines, Chartered Accountancy and Architecture, education to profession dropout ratio is not more than 5%. Why? Yes, just because of the real time training with studies. All medical students are required to attend compulsory internship within their study curriculum. This industry exposure is quite similar to the real life situations which they require to face, when they will work as an independent professional. Also, they get ample opportunities to work under highly specialized senior professionals. The result itself shows the success story of this education model.
Conclusively, we are 95% sure that a student will choose the same profession in which he/she has studied if, they get a chance to undergo internship within studies compare to less than 50% surety of a student to go in the same field of studies for the programme where industry interaction is not the part of academic curriculum.
CIB education is an effort to make such an educational model which is similar to the industry integrated model like in medical education. CIB education will be given to students with real industry working experience. This serve dual purpose; the student will obtain precious work experience in addition to the academic knowledge. Conclusively, CIB education is the only tool which can fulfill the demands of modern industry and serve country in a better manner.

The Objective OF PROGRAMMETo develop skilled manpower through diversified courses to meet the requirements of mainly the unorganized sector and to prepare for the world of work in general through a large number of self-employment oriented courses, not precluding wage employment of many courses. Through diversification in to the production and service-oriented course, it is desired to reduce the aimless pursuit of higher education and thereby reduce pressure from the tertiary education. Also to implement the scheme by utilizing the expertise available with non formal training institute. Training institutes / organization in the non-formal sector provided they meet well defined norms and criteria are granted accreditation for conducting specified courses. The courses follow the prescribed syllabus. Students from accredited institutes as well as working professionals are to appear for the examinations at these courses conducted, if they fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria.
The programme has been implemented in all states and registered significant results. A part from the training institutes which were funded by the government of India departments, a large number of self funded, entrepreneurship based Exchange Education Places of Excellence designated as Collaborative Industry based Internship Points (CIIPs) also came up, which were networked with the programme at block, district and regional levels.
The CIIP are engaged in human resource development activities in their own specialized areas of technology, paramedical, engineering, management, fashion designing, teaching technology, traditional, arts, science, and commerce and entrepreneurship development with emphasis to create employment generators rather than mere employment seekers. What is Part time RegularCIB Education ? Part Time Regular Collaborative Industry Based Education is most contemporary noble concept derived by Council for Minority Development (CMD) to integrate the component of industry in education. CIB Education is just not a formality of giving industry exposure to students; rather it is a full-fledged industry experience to students with their studies. CIB Education enables students to obtain the basic and all functional knowledge of the industry in which they wished to work.
What is the difference between Distance Education and Part Time Regular (PTR) CIB Education ?
What is the difference between Regular education and CIB education ?
Part Time Regular CIB Education is most con-temporary noble concept which integrates education and industry. Here students are working in the same industry of the programme they are pursuing. The biggest advantage of CIB Education over distance education and conventional education is that students are getting theoretical and professional knowledge at the same time of study only. Where as in conventional and distance education programs, Students are required to spend 3-4 years in obtaining similar level of professional knowledge after their studies. So it is clear that CIB Education students are more professional compare to the students of conventional/distance education. The students of CIB education proceed fast in profession.
Shobhit University has resolved to conduct the Part-Time Regular CIB Education programs related to arts, social science, education, journalism and mass communication, commerce, paramedical, pharmacy, science and engineering and other courses with the industry and education resource support from CMD to help in finalizing Collaborative Industry based Internship Point (CIIP) and in internship/ training/ research work for the students and directly enrolling students in university from India.
What are the advantages of CIB Education over Conventional Education & Distance Education ? Part-Time Regular
How CMD is conducting PTR CIB Education program of Shobhit University ?
Distance Education is an effective tool of giving Postal / Correspondence Education.
No formal Education/ Industrial Training

Distance Education
Regular/Conventional Education is an effective tool of teaching students in classrooms throughout the year.

This type of Education sometimes proves wastage of time for more than 50% of students, as students leaves the field after study.
In Annual mode Classroom interaction and practical 5hrs x 175 days (annually) = 875 hrs (Annually).
In Semester Mode Classroom interaction and practical 6hrs x 180 days (annually) = 1080hrs (Annually).
Regular Education
PTR CIB Education is regular & not a Postal or Correspondence Education.
PT Regular Education with real-time industry exposure.
