“To bring creativity and innovation to design and art, tempered with technical knowledge and reason.”

As a creative director, I have over thirty years of professional design experience, including project work with many of the premier

retail design and branding firms in the marketplace. I bring a broad range of innovative environmental planning and design

solutions to the task at hand.

A Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University established my grounding and focus in design. Major

project responsibilities in the United States and overseas include key planning and design solutions from concept strategies,

space planning, lighting and fixture design, to design development documentation and client presentations. The art of lighting

design and architectural illustration are key aspects of my client offerings. International work included comprehensive hands-on

installation services.

The over 160 retail and commercial client projects in my growing portfolio have given me a diversity of creative challenges and

rewards, with premier clients such as Wal-Mart and Volkswagen International as well as charming, Neo-Victorian prototype

boutiques such as Bliss. In addition to traditional fee-for-service client projects, I take great pride in negotiating a reduced fee

with non-profit retail, institutional and community organizations or providing pro bono services.

My designs are distinct, purposeful and beautiful. They are targeted and appropriate for each client’s brand and identification in

the marketplace. These are my hallmark goals as a designer.
