Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible 'SEBC'candidates for filling up 01 (One) number of contractual post of S.E.O/L.S.E.O (SEBCCategory) through Direct Recruitment in Nabarangpur District carrying a consolidatedremuneration of Rs 9300/- per month. The Post is purely temporary and can be terminatedat any time without assigning any reason thereof. The post shall be filled up on contractbasis and is subject to Finance Department Circular No.55764, dated 31-12-2004 and othercirculars in this regard.

1-ELIGIBILITY

post shall-A 'SEBC Category candidate' in order to be eligible to apply for the

1. be a citizen of India,

2. must have registered his/her name in Employment Exchange of NabarangpurDistrict.

3. have passed Bachelor's Degree from any recognized University.4. be not less than 21 (Twenty one) years and not more than 32 (Thirty two) years of

age as on 1st January,2013. Age relaxation of 03 years for SEBC men, 05 (five) yearsfor SEBC women, 10 (Ten) years for physically handicapped and age relaxation asadmissible to sports persons/ex-Military persons shall be given.

5. be of good moral Character,6. be of sound health and active habits,7. be able to speak, read and write Oriya and must have;

(i) Passed Class-VII Examination with Oriya as language subject 'or'(ii) Passed HSC or equivalent Examination with Oriya as the medium of

examinationIn non-language subject, 'or'

(iii) Passed a test in Oriya in Middle English School standard conducted by theEducation Department.

8. not having more than one spouse living (in married case),9. must not have been debarred from appearing in any other competitive examinations

or from holding government service as ordered by any competent authority/court.

2- PROCEDURES FOR DIRECT RECRUITMENT

A. No interview, viva-voce or other tests shall be conducted.B. The candidate shall be selected on the basis of aggregate percentage of marks

secured in the HSC or equivalent examination, Higher Secondary or equivalentexamination and in Degree Examination. For an Instance, the total marks of acandidate who has secured 65% in HSC, 52% in Higher Secondary and 43% inDegree Exam will be 160.

C. The marks secured in Optional Subject in HSC, Higher Secondary Examination andmarks secured in Honours subject in Degree Examination shall be counted fordetermining the percentage of marks in HSC and Degree Examinationrespectively.

D. The merit list of the candidates shall be prepared on the basis of total marks.

3- HOW TO APPLY

The application completed in all respect in the prescribed format dulyfilled in by the applicant in his/her own handwriting in bold capital letters in Blue/Black ballpoint pen along with the "required documents" (as mentioned below) shall be submitted inan Envelope superscribed "Application for the contractual post of Social EducationOrganizer (S.E.O)/Iady Social Education Organizer (LSEO)" in the address of the DISTRICTSOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER, COLLECTORATE, NABARANGPUR, DIST-NABARANGPUR(ODISHA ) through registered post/speed post only. Submission of applications in any othermode will be uprightly rejected. Applications should reach the office on or before.20-11-2013 till 5.00 P.M. The Authority will be no way responsible for any postal delay.

4-DOCUMENTS TO BE FURNISHED ALONG WITH THE APPLICATION FORM

The candidate shall furnish photocopy of following documents dulyattested by any Gazetted Officer along with the filled in Application Form.

(i) Certificate of H.S.C or Equivalent Examination passed.(ii) Mark sheet of H.S.C or Equivalent Examination passed.(iii) Certificate of Higher Secondary Examination or Equivalent examination passed.(iv) Mark sheet of Higher Secondary Examination or Equivalent examination passed.(v) Certificate of Bachelor's Degree from any Recognized University.(vi) Mark sheet of Bachelor's Degree from any Recognized University.(vii) Certificate showing passing of required examination as mentioned in clause-7

(Ito iii) under "1-Eligibility" head.(viii) Certificate of Character from two Gazetted Officers.(ix) 'Socially & Economically Backward class' (SEBC) certificate issued by the

competent Revenue Authority.(x) Employment Registration certificate valid as on 1-11-2013.(xi) Nativity/Resident Certificate issued by the competent Revenue Authority.(xii) Certificate from Medical officer to the effect that the candidate is of sound

health and free from any contagious diseases.(xiii) In case of Ex-servicemen, an attested copy of identity card and the document

indicating the period of service rendered in armed forces.

(xiv) In case of PwD (P.H) candidates, an attested copy of identity card/disabilitycertificate valid as on 1-11-2013 by competent certificate issuing authority.

(xv) A declaration to the effect that the candidate has not more than one spouseliving (if married).

(xvi) Passport size colour photographs duly attested by any Gazetted Officer, whichshould be signed by the applicant in the front side and pasted in the appropriatespace in the application form.

5-CONDITIONS

(I) The candidate shall be required to produce the original copies of abovecertificates,if selected in the recruitment test, failing which he/she shall be liableto be disqualified.

(II) Incomplete application form without any requisite documents or the applicationform without signature of the applicant or the application form received afterthe last date shall be summarily rejected without assigning any reason.

(III) No application form other than the prescribed application form will be accepted.(IV) The Authority reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any

reasons.

(V) The Authority also reserves right to cancel or postpone the recruitment, ifsituation warranted without assigning any reason.

(VI) Inclusion in the merit list confers no right to appointment.
