www.actstudent.orgwww.collegeboard.org

• When registering for the test, make sure you are adding the colleges you want your scores to be sent to for free. Sending scores after the exam will cost a fee and will cause scores to get to the college later.

• Upcoming Test Dates offered at WEHS:ACT SATOctober 26 October 5

• Full list of ACT/SAT test dates for 2019-2020 school year can be found here: https://www.wylieisd.net/Page/7841

• All WISD juniors take the SAT during the school day and should have a score on file with College Board.

• If you qualify for free/reduced lunch, then you can get an ACT/SAT fee waiver from your counselor. This does not cover late registration fees.

Other Items Needed for Application… • SAT and/or ACT scores-send directly from ACT Student or College Board. • Request your transcript to be sent. This is done through the counseling

center. • Letters of recommendation, not a requirement at all universities.

Recommended to do at least one, but no more than three. • For your application to be reviewed you MUST have a complete application

on file, ACT or SAT scores, application fee paid, and a transcript. Failure to have all items in will prevent you from getting into the school of your choice.

• Don’t forget to check application deadlines. These can be found on each college’s website.

• If you qualify for free/reduced lunch, then you qualify for college application fee waivers. Check the college’s website for what type of fee waiver they require. SAT will give a qualifying student 3 application fee waivers.
