andtheCCLC.• Todate,110Californiacommunitycollegesparticipateinthisplatform.• TheCCCCOhasworkedwiththeCouncilofChiefLibrarianstocontinuetoadvocateforongoing
fundingandtheBoardofGovernorshassupportedfullongoingfundingforthispurposeinthe2019-20and2020-21budgetprocess.
• NoadditionalstatefundingtodirectlysupportthesingleLibraryServicesPlatformhasbeenprovidedandthestatewidecontractissettoexpireDecember31,2020.

• EDDmetwithNorthropGrummantodiscussthelaunchoftheLowObservablePaintApplication.COCwillbetheonlycommunitycollegeofferingthiscourseinthecountry.
• TheEmploymentTrainingInstituteisworkingwithlocalcompaniestodetermineiftheyqualifyfora$200,000trainingsubsidythroughtheEmploymentTrainingPanel.Theprogramisaresponsetobusinessesadverselyimpactedbythecoronavirus.
• EDDwillmeetwithBankofAmericatodiscussitsproposalof$10millioninfundingtocreateanddeliveracceleratedtrainingprogramsthattargetAfrican-Americansandotherunderservedpopulations.
• Dr.DevinDaughertyhascreatedapartnershipwiththeAerospaceandDefenseForum,oneoftheleadingtradeassociationsfordefensemanufacturers.ThiscollaborationwillenabletheCACTtopositionitselftoplacemoregraduatesfromitsprogram.
