Ch. 1 LaFazia Notes

• Using the document camera, I will go through what I have determined to be some of the most important bits of information (in this case, from sections 1.1-1.5).

• You have been and will get practice on sections 1.6 and 1.7 throughout our other lessons, but I will not make “LaFazia Notes” for these 2 sections.

Metric Conversion Handout

• Keep your copy of this handout in your notebooks. You may use it at any time to help you convert metric prefixes when needed.

The Elements

• This poetic production provides us with a perfect opportunity to preview the nature of the elements presented on the Periodic Table. It holds a proliferation of productive mini-poems, and there are preguntas which perform practical purposes when performing their completion. Probably some people prefer this process over more generic paperwork!

Looking Ahead:We will (hopefully…FINALLY…) complete an “Indirect Observations” lab and continue our study of Ch. 1 material.
