• Retell the story from the point of view of the Color Monster.Could you write his diary entry?• Write a prequel to this story. Where did the Color Monstercome from?• Write a separate story about an angry Color Monster or a sadone.• Think of synonyms for the names of different colors, e.g. red =crimson, maroon, cherry, ruby. • Think of some speech/thought bubbles to accompany theillustrations.• Make a list of words that the author links with each color, e.g.yellow = bright and light, blue = gentle and alone. Can you think ofsynonyms for these words?

Use the included template below to draw things that makeyou happy/ angry/sad etc.•Practice drawing faces that show different emotions. Can youdraw a happy face? Can you draw an angry face? Use a mirror tosee how your facial expression can change to show emotions.
