Scientific and Natural Areas are wild natural places that belong to every single person in Minnesota! These places are the home of many different animals and plants. Minnesotans decided it was a good idea to protect these places so that

animals and plants would always have a place to live.

These places can be pretty hard to get to, but that’s okay because the things that live there needs lots of space. So, how about we take a coloring adventure

to a few Scientific and Natural Areas!

What will you see on a Scientific and Natural Area?

Funding for this project was provided by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative‐Citizen Commission on

Minnesota Resources (LCCMR).
