DESCRIPTION:A series of colour wheels representing colours as proportional pie-charts based on their CMYK codes, rotating on a turntable under a CCTV camera. The camera relays the image to a television screen, then a solar panel attached to the screen converts the light image into electrical impulses. From here, an audio amplifier converts the electrical impulses into sound.
The colour wheels can be changed by the user/participant/visitor, and the rotation is done by hand or by engaging the drive of the record player. The volume does not need to be loud, and the level can be easily adjusted, in relation to the space and other works.
For a purely visual experience, remove the solar panel, deactivate the audio amplifier, and watch the image rotate on screen.
