+Overview

Columbia University in New York City is one of, if not the, most selective schools in the world. It is the oldest college institution in the State of New York, and the fifth oldest in the United States of America. Furthermore, Columbia University is one of the nation’s nine Colonial Colleges founded before the American Revolution took place.

+How do I get in?

- AHHHHH! I’m so sick of the idea that “You must have a 36 on your ACT to get into an Ivy League school.” Let me debunk this common misconception right here and right now: you don’t have to win a Nobel Peace Prize to get accepted to a good school.

+Requirements

Columbia University does not have any stated requirements for grades and/or test scores. That being said, if you have a 2.6 GPA and a 14 on your ACT, you can kiss the idea of going to Columbia goodbye.

+What do I want to do?

My career field is wide open. I am destined to be a doctor, however, I don’t know if that is what I will end up doing. I have not included my major because I don’t know what I would like to major in.
