On 5-13-99 I interviewed Barnes who told me that he knew both Harris and Klebold, Harris was in his 3rd hour

Philosophy class this semester. Harris was not in Philosophy class on 4-20-99 even though they were scheduledto

have a "big exam". Brooks Brown is also in that class and Barnesthinks that Brown was possibly in the class on 4

20-99. Barnesis an athlete (basketball) and never made funofHarris or Kleboldspecifically but did make fun of the

TCM in general. Barnes did have a group project in Philosophy with Harris about 3 weeks ago and worked well

togetherwithno problems. Barneshas seen HarrisaroundsinceJuniorHigh School but feels that he knowsthe other

-CM membersbetter (ie. Brown, Morris, etc.).

Barnes concluded by saying that he has 5th hour lunch and was off campus at a friends house at the time of the

incidenton 4-20-99.
