Improved Transit Time for Key Lanes

5-hour improvement over previous schedule 

Previous: City of Industry-to-Columbus: 1300 Day 5

New: City of Industry-to-Columbus: 0800 Day 5

Ease of Access

• Increased access to in/out-gate due to larger terminal

footprint by acquiring 31 additional acres

• Doubling of parking spaces from 510 to 1,046

• Increased number of gates to reduce driver dwell and

speed up entry/exit procedures

Technology Innovations

• New EDI system to improve processing and record-keeping

• Enhanced camera system to speed up in/out gate activities

• RF GPS and tracking systems for equipment and personnel

to improve safety and efficiency

Performance Improvements

Increased on-time performance through technology and facility upgrades.

On-time performance for Columbus since domestic service reopened on May 1st:

• Columbus origin: 90%

• Columbus destination: 92%

Increased Locations Served

11 new lanes added since July 2012 provides greater market reach

than previously available at ramp.
