Missions at Mt. Eden

At Mt. Eden Christian Church, we strive to have a missions & outreach strategy that reflects the teaching

of Jesus found in Acts 1:8...“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit

has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the

end of the earth.”

This is reflected in the four missions we support:Assurance for Life

Faith Christian CampMission Journeys

Africa Development Mission

We are excited to share a couple of BIG announce-ments concerning our missions.

First off, THANKS to Angie Mitchuson and crew for helping decorate a new “Missions Board” in the front foyer of the church. We will use this board to feature the missions we support at Mt. Eden. Be watching as we will put prayer requests and special updates on it!

Secondly, all of the missions we support are in need of some financial assistance with special projects.

Therefore, the elders have recommended that we use the four months that have five Sundays in 2019 to do a

special offering for each mission organization.We will tithe off the month’s offering in March, June, September and December as well as be accepting do-nations that folks may make directly to the particular mission. I hope and pray you'll be able to help. These

special offerings will be a big boost to each one of these great missions.

March:

In March, we raised just over $1,000 to help with work on a new cabin for the Camp Manager!

We'll help purchase a box trailer for hauling donations and equip-

ment to Eastern KY and storm-damaged areas of the United States.

Assurancefor Life

We'll add to the Baby Bottle Blessings program we already particpate in. This will assist Assurance in helping save the

lives of many unborn babies right here in Central KY.

Africa Development MissionWe hope to help Denford Chizanga fund the launch of

a new Church work in Zimbabwe, Africa.
