International students’ meeting

In March 2015 Gimnazjum 17 in Wrocław, Poland, hosted the last students’ international meeting of the Comenius project

‘Culture Beyond Borders’

Our guests were welcomed by the headmaster Elżbieta Pawlik-Baraniec and the Polish coordinator Agnieszka Boćwińska

We prepared a lot of surprises for our guests

All the classes made posters about the partner countries

During the common robotics class, the teams from different countries competed in a robot mini-sumo

International teams worked together doing experiments

The school choir Akolada taught the guests how to sing in different languages

Students and teachers met to discuss the topic of Holocaust

Our annual Hobbies and Talents competition was an extra attraction

Together we visited the District of 4 Denominations in Wrocław. We saw a catholic church, a protestant church, an orthodox church and a synagogue

Bowling at SkyTower integrated both students and teachers

We sowed our guests around the top attractions of the city

On our last day together, we visited the Auschwitz Camp Museum and the Wieliczka Salt Mine
