Cricket News

Wow!! What a difference a month makes. Well done to our cricketers who played their second match of the Reg Kelly Sheild against Morpeth Public School last Friday. Our bowling was outstanding and we backed this up with some tremendous fielding efforts.

After a slow start with the bat we got into a rhythm and past their total with overs and wickets to spare. A huge thank you goes out to Jett and Drew’s dad for volunteering his time to umpire on the day. Your dedication is much appreciated. I’m sure the team really appreciated the family, friends and classmates who came to cheer them on. We as a community are so proud of your efforts.

Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month in the library at 7pm. Everyone is welcome and we would love to see fresh faces and hear new ide-as. Our next meeting is on 20th November. Please come along for cake and a cuppa for our final meeting of the year.

Parents MUST attend these two meetings if they wish their child to receive Confirmation and First Holy Communion in 2018.

PLEASE NOTE:

No child can be registered until a copy of their Baptism Certificate has been received by the Sacraments of Initation (SOI) Team. To obtain your child’s Baptism Certificate please contact the parish where the baptism occurred.

N.B. If candidates are NOT Catholic, please contact Regional Office ASAP before the 1st information Session.

DUNGOG SHOW 10TH & 11TH NOVEMBER

Dungog Shire Council has partnered with Ability Links NSW to provide Dungog Show 2017 with an EVENT

TENT, busy events can often get overwhelming, sometimes you just need somewhere to take a time-out or

seek some quiet space particularly if you have a disability or need.

The EVENT TENT is designed to be used to provide a free safe and supportive space for people to retreat

to when they need some time away from the busyness and noise of the show. The tent contains smaller

sensory tents with tools designed for children particularly those who have sensory processing disorders. The

tent will cater for a broad cross section of people with disabilities, their families and carers, as well as older

people or parents with prams. It will be operational throughout the 2 days of Dungog Show.
