<peer-group-name>] Specifies the name for a peer group
<value> Time interval in seconds, range: 1~600,default: 30 seconds
Defaults The path attribute with its own autonomous system number is notsupported by default.
Instructions To prevent the loopback of BGP routes, in general, the path at-tribute is used to record crossed autonomous systems. When thepath attribute has its own autonomous system number, it indicatesloopback appears and this route should be invalid.
However, as the application of the network becomes more andmore complex, especially the application of HUB-SPOKE model ofMPLS-VPN, it may appears that some autonomous system mustbe crossed to meet the user’s requirement.

SyntaxDescription
<ipv4-address> IPv4 address of the neighbor
<ipv6-address> IPv6 address of the neighbor
<peer-group-name> Peer group name
Defaults Private AS number is filtered by default.
Instructions Since the quantity of AS number is limited, the private AS num-ber can be used to divide a large AS into multiple areas con-nected by EBGP. The private autonomous system will be re-moved when the area accesses the Internet. In this way, theinside area is transparent for the Internet.
The range of the private AS is from 64512 to 65535.
Tip:
When a confederation is configured, since the peers in the con-federation are identified with private autonomous system, it maycause the route loopback if the private AS is removed. As a result, this command is ineffective in EBGP peers inside the confedera-tion.

ZXR10 8900 Series Command Reference (IP Routing Volume II)
Instructions When the local BGP policy is adjusted, the routes that were deniedbefore may be enabled now. If this command is not configured, the neighbor must retransmit routes and it must be reset. Afterthe use of this command, the routes that are denied before can beenabled again without resetting the neighbor.
However, the use of this command may cause that local routerstores large number of denied routes and this will use plenty ofmemory. As a result, it is recommended to use the commandunder the guide of network expert.
If the neighbor supports route refreshing capability, this commandis unnecessary. Even though this command is configured, it equalsto the case in which there is no such configuration.
Example This example describes how to make the BGP neighbor 1.1.1.1support soft reconfiguration.ZXR10(config)#router bgp 1ZXR10(config-router)#neighbor 1.1.1.1 soft-reconfiguration

<keepalive> Time of the keepalive timer in seconds, range: 0~65535
<holdtime> Time of the holdtime timer in seconds, range:0 or 3~65535
Defaults The neighbor inherits the timer of BGP by default.
Example This example describes how to set the holdtime timer, thekeepalive timer of the BGP neighbor 1.1.1.1 respectively as 180seconds, 60 seconds.ZXR10(config)#router bgp 1ZXR10(config-router)#neighbor 1.1.1.1 timers 60 180

Instructions Redistributing route
Use the route-map command in global configuration modeand the match and set commands in route map configurationmode to define the conditions for redistributing routes from onerouting protocol to another. Each route-map command has aseries of associated match and set commands. The matchcommand specifies the match indices, that is, the condition toallow the redistribution. The set command specifies the pre-served operation, that is, it conducts the specific redistributionwhen the match indices specified by the match command aremet.
Thematch command has many types that can be presented inany order, but all the “match” commands should be permittedso that routes can be redistributed by the preserved operationset by the set command. The no form of thematch commandcancels the specified match index.
When the route is delivered through a route map which canbe divided into several parts. Compared with the match itemrelated with the route-map command, the route without anymatched item will be discarded. That is to say, the route can-not be advertised to the output route map, and it cannot bereceived by the input route map. If only some data are to bemodified, the second route map part with detailed match itemmust be configured.
 Policy route
Use the route-map command in global configuration modeand the match and set commands to make packets corre-sponding to this match condition forwarded along the specifiedpath.
Example In this example, the routes whose address is specified by the ac-cess list 5 or 80 satisfy the match condition.ZXR10(config)#route-map nameZXR10(config-route-map)#match ip address 5 80
