Prince Charles has made light of the prank that over-shadowed the news that the Duke and Duchess

of Cambridge are expecting their first child.

Earlier this week, Summer Hot30 jocks Mel and MC made a call that caused a storm of reactions

from people around the world some amused, others wildly enraged.

The pair, certain they would be unsuccessful, impersonated the Queen and her eldest son in a call to

the hospital where the Duchess was recovering. Stunned that they were actually put through to her

ward, the two managed to extract information about her condition.

Prince Charles demonstrated his sense of humour yesterday with an amusing quip about the prank,

asking journalists quizzing him about his daughter in law,

How do you know I am not a radio station?

He quickly went on to reveal his pride and excitement about the prospect of becoming a grandfather

seamlessly pulling the attention back onto the happy news.

Realising the offense their prank caused some, Summer Hot30 issued an apologetic response to the

incident. The reiterated their well wishes to the Royal family and their congratulations about the

pregnancy.

We are very pleased to report that the impeccably stylish Kate was discharged from the hospital in

much better health and spirits.
