T he Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce is a private, not-for profit corporation that unites businesses and professional firms who are committed to progress in all of Glynn County. This includes Brunswick (the county seat), St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island and Little St. Simons Island. The Chamber promotes future business growth, as well as support for existing business and industry, and works to improve the current business environment in Glynn County. In addition to the Chamber of Commerce, there are three partnering organizations that work together to foster growth and progress in Glynn County. The Golden Isles Convention & Visitors Bureau promotes the Golden Isles as a visitor destination. The Bureau participates in group tour and travel trade shows, hosts travel writers and video production companies, and responds to over 250,000 requests for information annually. The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides individual consulting to local small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs in the areas of: financial analysis, marketing, record keeping/taxes, business planning, market research and others.
