Session 4 includes the module, Revised
Bloom’s Taxonomy. NCDPI developed the Essential Standards using these levels of
thinking.
Literacy in the Content Literacy in the Content AreasAreas
Session 5, Literacy in the Content Areas,
examines the impact of the Common Core
Content Literacy standards on all curricular areas.

Assessment is a session designed specifically for
administrators. It includes a NC FALCON
Module on leading formative assessment efforts in the school

Session 6, NC Professional Teaching Standards, takes
an in-depth look at how the standards relate to
the new evaluation tool.
