COMMONWEALTH OF PUERTO RICO GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION PUBLIC NOTICE As per faculties conferred by Law, No. 164 of July 23, 1974 as amended and in compliance with Law No.170 of August 12, 1988, as amended, known as the Uniform Administrative Procedure Act, the General Services Administration notifies its intention to amend the following regulation: Reglamento para la Administración de los Recursos Humanos en el Servicio de Carrera de la Administración de Servicios Generales (Reglamento Núm. 7509, aprobado el 12 de mayo de 2008). The proposed amend has the following purpose: to amend subsection 2, section 7.9 of the regulations for the Human Resources of the General Services Administration on career service in connection with those areas that are essential to the merit principle. A copy of the proposed amendment to the regulation may be requested at the Legal Division of the General Services Administration, Barbosa Avenue, at the corner of Quisqueya Street, Monday thru Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or at our web site http://www.gobierno.pr/ASG/NoticiasASG/ Although no oral hearing has been planned to discuss this regulation any person who might consider a hearing is necessary shall a make a written request that includes the grounds on which the petitioner bases said request. Written comments about this regulation and/ or a request for an oral hearing shall be submitted within thirty (30) days of this publication and sent to: General Services Administration, P. O.
