About the Presenter: Connie Hubbs has worked in the area of fundraising and philanthropy for over 15 years assisting hundreds of charities raise the funds needed for their programs. I have worked in the area of fundraising and philanthropy for over 15 years assisting hundreds of charities in North America with their fund development. As part of my commitment to our sector I have chaired the AFP Vancouver's Professional Development Committee and served as a member of our chapter’s Board of Directors. I am the current chair of AFP Vancouver's Diversity Committee. At ConnieHubbs.com I offer educational sessions for fund development professionals as well as those of us for whom this is only part of work responsibilities. It has never been more urgent for charities, NGOs and other public sector organizations to secure sustaining support for the critical work that they do. The key as I see it is to diversify your funding sources.
