In 2003, BD Tianji Command post equipment was developed, with to PLA units started shortly in
the same year.
In 2004, BD Navigation Satellite-based operation services was launched to the marine fishery
market. So far, more than 30,000 users have subscribed for the service.
In 2008, the Company provided Wenchuan earthquake disaster regions with emergency
communication and technical support services.
In September 2010, the Company successfully developed the first IPR-backed SoC chip in China,
which has won a number of first place awards of PLA General Armament Department.
In August 2011, the Company released the first BD car-borne navigation system in China.
In August 2011, BDchip was successfully used in “Guangzhou Government Fleet” project, which
was the first application project using more than 10,000 BD chips.
In 2011, the Company led the organization of China Positioning Association BD Application
Industrialization Committee.
In 2012, the Company launched military version of its 2G BD end user device and started to
deploy it to PLA units.

2012 Dec. 27 , the BD navigation system began providing services for civilians in
the Asia-Pacific region.
The BD now has a constellation of 16 navigation satellites and 2 experimental
satellites.
Its positioning accuracy has 8-10 meters both horizontally and vertically, Its timing
accuracy has 20-50 nanosecond.
Its website (www.beidou.gov.cn) ran both Chinese and English versions of a
document that specifies signal-interface relations between the Beidou system and
receivers.

In September 25, 2010, the Unicore communications Company successfully
developed the first IPR-backed SoC chip in China, which has won a number of

As an integrated information solution for container docks, TOMACS
container handling operation monitoring and management system uses
Internet-of-things” technologies to enable information collection,
transmission, processing and sharing.
It has become a powerful weapon to improve digital operation and
market competitiveness of ports by effectively addressing traditional

Navigation Co., Ltd. has released Beidou Yuheng container terminal
operation monitoring and controlling system (TOMACS) for
terminals and ports around the world. The system realizes precise
location, dynamic tracking, procedure controlling and visual
management of productive elements in terminal, reduces any
existing production dangers and raises production efficiency greatly.
The system can meet the data demands from operator, planner, manager and decision-maker, provide multi-angle, all-dimensional scientific digital evidence for enterprise production planning, scheduling and decision-making. It will bring generous economic and social benefits by using the system.
1) TOMACS can increase efficiency by 4-8% and the reduce the
cost by 5% ~ 10% by comparing with current production
management system (3C).
2) TOMACS will realizes container’s precise location and digital
management. A research from Cambridge University shows that
the container piling error is about 3‰ across the world . By using
TOMACS, it will keep the driver’s manipulation process
controllable all the time, eliminate the driver’s manual error, so
realizes the container piling error down to 0 and saves much
unnecessary expenditure.
3) By integrating production management software, the system
simplifies the driver’s operation routines, realizing the operation
instruction pre-confirmation and next production routine
operation pre-dispatch, raising the production efficiency by 25%.
4) Due to the realizing container’s digital position management
and operation machinery monitoring, the safety on the fields are
controllable. The system complete the mechanical anti-shock
and anti-bowling , avoid the loss due to safety accidents.
5) TOMACS will simplify the driver’s manipulation. After
completing a operation, the driver must feedback information to
TOS(terminal operation system) manually without using
TOMACS, and then wait for a new instructions. Now the
lock/unlock status are received, the system will transfer the related
information to TOS, so the driver’s operation instructions will be
confirmed in advance automatically.
By using the system in operation, it will make the company’s
container production system synchronized with global up-to-date
container terminal technologies, improve the handling efficiency
and cargo quality, reduce the cargo damage and possible error,
eliminate the on-port time of trade goods for importing and
exporting port.
TOMACS will fully advance the terminal technologies,
management, service and image , enhance the company’s
development source power and international competition ability.
